I have a lot of friends who have read lots of Dostoevsky, and keep trying to convince me to read him, so I probably will soon.
I was actually lucky enough to read "The Great Gatsby" for class, and I had an amazing teacher. It's a very odd book, most things Fitzgerald writes are odd. It's really much simpler than it seems to appear (if that made sense). It's just about the American Dream and Gatsby's love for Daisy. I know it's kind of crazy.
Ah, books! They make me so happy...!
