sorry about the package... i had one that went around the world twice! and it came back to my doorstep only to be picked up, BY MISTAKE, by the UPS guy who was picking up a different package, and sent to the other side of this country! the package eventually made it to the correct person.....

oooh i like how on LJ if you reply on the thread that is started (like this one) you get an email notice that there is reply to you.

on xanga, if you reply in your own comments box, the other person doesnt know it...

Once, I had an express mail package coming to me get ripped open in transport and it's contents spill out. The USPS guy tried to deliver an empty package that was mostly intact like nothing was wrong. But eventually the contents made their way to me a few days later.

Just a sample of the weirdness that can happen.
