People not human turn human on arrival. Completely human, meaning any powers are lost. Last time this happened some of them turned back to their true forms or regained some or all of their abilities.

[Once Cooper rounds that street corner, he might find himself staring at a certain giant robot. A familiar face is riding the cable lift down from its cockpit.]

[Well, that's ... new. He stops completely and just stares up at the robot and the person in it. And that's pretty much it. He doesn't look too shocked, even if his stance will probably tell you that he is, at least somewhat, but mostly there's just ... bafflement.]

[But then, where did her Watson skills get her? There's a fraction of a pause before he answers, with a hint of finality to his tone.]

If you've read the books you might recall that Sherlock Holmes is not a very good role model.

[Coop actually eyes the scooter before paying attention to the driver. He's never seen anything quite like it, being from 1989 and all, and sort of absorbs the vehicle before looking at Bakura and ... well, it's certainly not the strangest thing today, even if he looks at him funny for a bit.]

I don't think so. The technology here is quite different.

[Again, a quick once-over. Yep, this must be Bakura, but given the strange time/space/whatever that happens in Johto and probably even moreso here, he's not going to comment on it and just be a good guy and help out.]

[Creepy blonde kid in black armor's standing beside you now, Coop. Ever see that Dave kid on the network? This looks just like him. Shadow's a little bit...clingy as he moves, and he's carrying a sword that looks like a scar on the world. Might not want to look at it for too long. When he speaks, it sounds hollow, almost like a distant echo.]

I think it's all rather interesting, personally.

That's very true. If anything, however, it's more enjoyable than what faced us previously.
