...Only during certain phases. Scientists claim that the full moon can cause insanity due the water in the brain. The push and pull of the tide.
[He just nods, before glancing over at Dale.]
Something happened to you these past few days.

I find the moonshine story to have more appeal. I think it was about as common as the beliefe that the phases were causing it a couple of centuries back.
[He raises an eyebrow slightly as he looks over to Sasha, with a small crooked smile. It probably comes across as a little grim.]
Not me. [But direct questions - be they masked as statements or not - deserve straight answers.] One of my friends disappeared.

Both are interesting tales never the less. That's not the major point of concern right now though.
...
I figured it was something related to that. [He stuffs both hands into his pockets calmly. His next statement is firm, yet contains a small amount of compassion to it.] Let's go get some coffee. [Because yes, Sasha, that fixes everything.]
Reply
[But yeah -- Cooper is okay with coffee and is in his mind already on his way somewhere as soon as the words are spoken.]
Okay. [You get to lead the way, since you suggested it.]

[HEATHER IS SLOWLY APPRECIATING YOUR WEIRD AND RANDOM TRIVIA, COOPER.]

[But have a 'mhm'-sound in confirmation.] The same goes for "lunatic".

Lunatic?
.... Ohhh, like 'luna'.
HUH.
Never knew that!

[See, there's another word that ties in with 'luna'. THE MORE YOU KNOW - but Cooper's mind is elsewhere, hence the somewhat distracted response.]

It's been a while since I heard anyone refer to it, though.

[He's not looking at the feed as he says that, but looks back at it when he completes the sentence.]
How are you? It's been a while.
Reply
{Smiling gently!} I've been worse, I've been better. I'm stuck in a wheelchair at the moment, but apart from that, I'm pretty okay.
How are you?
Reply
[A guess; he's got a Solrock.]
I'm holding up. How did you end up in a wheelchair?

[Yeah, sorry professor, you're not getting more than that right now.]

One of my friends disappeared a few days ago. You never really get used to that.

Yes, I am! I'm staying at the Inn, Room 16, with Romano. Would you like to meet up?
Reply
[Yeah, he'd like that. He can't help but smile a little in response - France really is infectuous like that at times - despite feeling pretty off.]
Where's good with you?
Reply
There's a small restaurant a couple buildings east of the Dance Theater that has a nice selection of food and drinks. Would you like to meet there in about twenty minutes?
Reply
[He cuts the feed - and he'll be waiting outside what he figures must be the one France mentioned maybe 15 minutes later, a shoulder against the wall as he surveys the street and the people on it, but without really seeing it.]
