[She stands huddled in the shadow from a house, a bit hunched over, as if she's afraid to walk out in the sun. There's a growlithe standing by her feet, tail between its legs.]

[From afar, the look... fairly normal. But are you sure you haven't seen this girl somewhere before?]

[action] well "normal" is certainly debatable ...

[He has. In fact, it doesn't take him too long to recognise the stance, the hair, the silhouette as a whole -- but it still takes him a little longer than usual, because while he thinks it must be Heather, hiding like that is behaviour that doesn't add up to the Heather he knows.]

[At least not typically.]

[But he's gotten to know her better these past few months, gotten to know about some of her demons, so it's understandable that his first response to the sight of her - well, he does think this is her - is concern.]

[At the same time, he can't help but feel there is something just slightly off here.]

[He approaches, carefully, mindful of whatever might be going on.]

Heather?

[Her hair is black, just like Heather's was if you saw her at Halloween, but her what used to be skin is now charred tissue, scattered with numerous festering, oozing wounds all over, and her eyes are black. You can't be sure if she has any eyes at all.]

[At the sound of a voice, her head snaps up, and the growlithe, a mangy, wounded mess, steps in between, hackle raised up as it growls cautionary.]

[He stops. Stops completely. That's ... certainly not the Heather he knows, but he does recognise her - her clothing, for one, and her features are there beneath all the wounds, the burns, the ... burns. Oh.]

[He stays still for a long moment. He feels a little ill at the sight of her, her and the Growlithe, and he eyes it because he recognises a warning when he sees one.]

[After that moment passes he raises his hands, slowly. It's a universal sign for peace and despite the look of the pair he thinks they'll know it.]

[ someone's just wandering around, admiring the weirdness of the day when he notices a familiar face abound. he pauses, then walks forward as though to greet the other, when he spots someone behind Coop, almost inconspicuous, but not quite.

his eyes narrow. he lifts his head, and smiles at Coop, amiable. almost apologetically-- ]

Terrible day for a walk, isn't it?

[Ah, Fuji. He smiles back, but it probably comes across as a little distrated, and he steps out to offer a handshake in greeting, because that's what Coop does.]

[The Little Man behind him just eyes them without saying anything. Cooper is happy to take his attention off him, personally.]

I should say so. But these kind of days hardly allow you to be still too long, do they?

[ he pauses at the outstretched hand, but takes it and shakes it after a moment. not too used to handshakes, here, but he can roll with it. he glances at the little man behind Coop out of the corner of his eyes, before tilting his head to smile. ]

Having odd things happening left and right does tend to make a person restless. What's the saying-- move before they move you?

[It's been a while since he met Fuji anyway, so a physical greeting seems more appropriate, even if it's as simple as a hanshake. He sticks his hands in his pockets and glances around - clearly a little distracted, but he nods as he listens.]

That sounds about right. Unless you'd rather be moved by circumstance, of course. There's no accounting for what might happen but I know some people like it that way.

[The Little Man will just look back. His eyes are smiling and he's a little twitchy, moving in place, but he still says nothing.]

Normal Coop

[A woman is looking around.]

Excuse me.

Ma'am?

[He's polite and looks like a guy you can trust, so when he takes one or two steps towards her it's with the clear intention to help out.]

I'm a little lost. Have you seen a man and a little girl go by? I seem to have gotten separated from my husband and daughter somehow.

No, I don't think I have. What are their names?

Cooper and the Little Man.

......Are you alright?

[He's walking by but you look worried.]

...I've been better.

[The Little Man laughs from somewhere nearby, as if to emphasize the words. Cooper is looking a little worn and - yes, worried is a good word right now.]

Where did he come from?

My dreams.

[It's said with that tone of voice that means it's true, even if it's said rather slowly.]

(She takes in her surroundings with more than a little trepedation. She'll probably throttle her mun for this later. She remembers this place, though can't exactly recall the how or why of it.)

"I might have taken a wrong turn somewhere."

[A wrong turn would be putting it mildly. If she waits just a moment, though, she'll get company - in the form of a blue and yellow dog, who will happily run up to her in that excited way most dogs do and try to sniff her hands.]

[Let's just say the Manectric is fond of meeting new people.]

(It's not the color that Audrey notices first, but that's definitely a close second. It's the strange build of the dog that catches her eye. It seems friendly enough though, so she crouches down and holds a hand out to it.)

Well hey there, puppy. Where's your owner?

[The electric dog doesn't answer, but gladly accepts the invitation to run her cold nose all over Audrey's palm before licking her fingers. Congratulations, Audrey - you're now Tricia-approved.]

[A whistle further away does make her ears swivel back to listen, but she doesn't respond to the call the way she should. She keeps her eyes fixed on the teenager and offers a bark instead, as if letting her owner know she found something interesting she'd rather not leave.]

[And that's when Cooper shows up ... and stops for a second.]

[There's a feeling of deja-vu, somewhere. Or some other notion he can't quite place. It's been quite a while since he saw her, after all, but the scenario does seem familiar.]

Audrey?

[Tricia stays by her, wagging her tail - showing off her find.]
