I don't know how many people know this but relations have always been good between Texas and Louisiana. I'm glad they are finding Texans to be so friendly because generally we are.

I'm sure Texans are great people. My friend trained to be a tank pilot somewhere in the middle of Texas and besides the sweltering heat he said it was a great place.

Unfortunately George is giving the state a somewhat bad reputation.

Saying George Bush is from Texas is like me saying I'm from New York. Bush is from Connecticut last I checked, and he just lived in Texas. I can't tell you how much it pisses me off that people associate him with Texas. Texas used to have this cool wrap as a big laid back place filled with friendly people but now everyone is like "ooooohhh that is where Bush came from your state sucks."

Well he was the governor too. I didn't say your state sucks. I would agree with you, as I said, George is giving your state a bad reputation. Even if people are jumping to conclusions.
