It was probably kind of weird of her to call, right?

... Probably right.

Maybe even definitely right.

But Ino, had, like a reason to call. And wasn't that all she needed?

And, really, after Friday she shouldn't be hesitating over calling someone all things considered.

So that was the phone ringing! While Ino nibbled on a pen cap.

Eve grinned as she reached over to snag her phone. Yay, distractions!

"Hello?"

And out came that pen cap! Ino wasn't going to answer the phone while nibbling on it, no.

"Hi, Eve!" Ino chirped. "Hope I'm not interrupting you? Or that I am, if you wanted one."

"You are, and it is totally welcome," Eve assured her, leaning back against the front of the couch, settling in with her food. "What's up?"

Eve recognized the ringtone easily -- she had different ones for every damn person in the address book -- and so she answered the phone with a cheerful, "Hi, you!"

"Homework, mostly," Eve replied. "Did homework, got distracted by a phone call, went back to homework, and now I'm distracted by you."

Which she totally didn't mind.
