 Ugh. Been sick ever since the new year started. Started off as sneezing, then moved to coughing and (this is actually much worse) HEARTBURN. Seriously.

I can't go to the gym. I'm not sleeping. All I'm doing is overeating and watching TV and being bored.

This sucks. This way sucks.

Did anyone close to you die?

My mother and my great-grandmother. Though, to be quite frank, I had never been close with my mother, and I wasn't particularily close with my great-grandmother in the last years of her life. That whole "suddenly quitting smoking" thing lasted about 6 hours. And by the end I felt so dizzy and lightheaded it was just unbelivable. So, yeah, I lost.

On the other hand, I have decided to no longer smoke in the apartment. And so far today I've only smoked 9 cigarettes, compared to the 15-20 I'd be at by now. So, I think I'm going to start ( Read more... )

 I started when I was 16 or so. Marlboro Reds. A friend of mine basically kept sticking them in my mouth until I liked them. Switched to Marlboro Lights, then Ultra-Lights.
