So hey this is the first update of the new, Spring 2007 semester here at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach, Florida.
Well this weekend was pretty intense, filled with a ton of different activities with some friends, and pretty much some good times all around! So with out further delay here are some pictures and an update of what went on.
So Saturday morning I...
...went on a flight to Flagler Beach with my friends Charles...
...and Matt.
Good times.
So here we are about to leave, there was a lot of traffic down on the ol' Riddle flight line.
Chuck is checking the fuel tanks, pre-flight fun times.
All glass (digital) Garmin G-1000 flight system, complete with XM Satelite radio, GPS guidance system, and anything else you could want.
It's a good day for flying.
Waiting on the taxiway, preparing for takeoff.
School from the sky.
Flying out over the ocean on the way to Flagler.
Daytona actually looks pretty nice from up here.
Daytona Beach Shores.
So then we landed at Flagler and had some lunch at this place called "Highjackers", I had a Southwestern Tuna Sandwich and let me tell you, that was some good eats.
As you can tell, this place is pretty popular...
Check out this old Spanish Hispano Aviacion Saeta undergoing restoration down at the airport.
Here's what the plane looks like after someone invests a lot of time and money into them.
Oh and look what we happened to find while we were there at Flagler, this is where they sent all the Riddle planes that were destroyed by the tornado.
That's nice.
Anyways it was time to leave and head back. Here are a few shots of the airport before we left/as we were leaving.
Here's school and the track from the air, you can see the cars racing during the Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona.
The whole of the city.
Back on the ground. Alive. Even better times.
Good ol' Riddle.
So hey you thought I was done huh? Sorry there's more because after I went flying I went to a bonfire, which I'll get pictures of later, but today I went to the Rolex that you just saw from the air. So check it out. Oh I forgot to mention, the best part was, I got in for free...schwing.
Porsches in the corner.
Here's the layout of the track, as you can see the normal tri-oval is modified so that the cars go into the infield and utilize less of the main track, thus making it an awesome road course.
The coolest car out there.
The infield.
Porsche and GTO
Leaderboard.
Mazda Speed RX-8 with Radial Power.
Grandstand.
Turn 4.
Start and Finish line.
Turn 1
Good racin'.

And finally the Bruno Porsche team car 59.
Well folks I know that was a lot of pictures but I hope you enjoyed them none the less! Untill next time, stay safe, have fun, and I'll talk to you later!
