I have a sneaking suspicion that this is not gonna be all that good.

I didn't even know they were making one. I came across it by accident but as one of the only Pratchett books I've read it would be pretty cool if they got it right. That said it may have been nice to get a Scottish Director (or at least English) to be involved lest it change to a more American sensibilty, yet Sam Raimi hasn't made many slip ups yet.

All I can picture is that SNL sketch about "the latest hard-hitting fantasy drama from HBO -THE SMURFS!" If they get the Nac Mac Feegle wrong, that's what it's gonna look like, albeit with tartan and swords.
