LMAO at the last one!

Funny story you will appreciate that is kind of connected...

You know my friend who was in Iraq? He was whatever they call the dude in charge of one of those groupy things (jeez you'd think I'd know that I watch enough military stuff!) Anyway he's a captian and he's the lead...
So he calls to the other vehicle drivers over radio to 'meet him up front for a chin-wag.'
ANd he waits.
Eventually one or two of the dudes start to make thier way towards him. They understood 'meet me up front.'
The others just followed figuring they should... poor sods have never heard the phrase 'chin wag' and had no idea what they were going up front for! lol

I don't care what that language was - you speak english on Marine radio!

Of course I never remember people's names either, not just title! *shakes head at self*

It is a very English phrase... and N is very Irish-America... I have no idea where he picked it up! But he used to say it back in uni too. It's very him lol
