The price in the UK is $5.69 a gallon (well their gallons actually)

So you complain that it is over $2.00??

Who has it worst? Do they actually get paid more than we do as a whole?

They also have a public transit system that enables them to lead a normal life without a car. As someone that relied on our "public transit" - it's apples and oranges.

Some places do, but that is city life. That is like comparing Seattle to New York City. What about those poor souls that don't live in the city?
