If it's any consolation, I'll be at least 33 before even STARTING Med School...

Just note the emphasis on at least. *sigh* I really hope things go well for me, educationally speaking, once I'm working on my next degree... out in Vancouver!

Inappropriate side note - Tetralogy of Fallot was my baby brother's problem. I can never remember the name of it until I see it somewhere.

Waning days of youth? Arghhh, so many years wasted by education. It is my firm belief that you are no longer young when you hit 20. No offense to you or anything! 8D

The House of God! Oh man, I remember reading that a few years back. Was too young to fully appreciate it so now I have to go back, look for it and read it again :3

Man, your uni sounds so much harsher than mine. Throughout the 6 years in med school, we're allowed to fail twice. After that, they kick us out but I guess we kinda deserve it at that point D:

That book sounds very interesting, but I would have to get through Catch-22 before attempting it. Tried three times and couldn't get past the first 50 pages.

I think you will be ok, you seem to have a strong sense of perseverance. Money issues always make reaching goals more challenging, but you've gotten this far, so things will fall into place.
