The issues in my head are driving me nuts. Things are going downhill with Carl. All we've been doing is fighting lately. Someone just make all my pain go away. I'm begging you. I can't even talk to Carl without him getting mad at me if it's not about him. Someone help me, please. I'm begging you.

Have you tried mentioning to Carl that he has been a bit... self-centered for lack of a better term. Though I am not sure that would help any. Perhaps a break from each other?
