Your Stuck Between Two Reflections...

Impossible....just impossible...

Why was Oz with The Will of the Abyss. What did she want? Did she want to take him away from her again?

Why...why...why? Her thoughts echoed the exact same thing the other Alice did. What did she want? Oz was hers...wasn't he? He was her manservant...he was suppose to stay by her side. Isn't Jack enough for her? She ( Read more... )

Oz was in a sort of dilemma, only it wasn't a dilemma at all. A rut, that was it; he was stuck in a rut and a rather difficult one to escape to boot.

He had hurt Alice, that much was evident on even her fragile face that was always contorted with anger or annoyance. The blonde remained still, still in close proximity with the white-haired Alice. He didn't know what to do, nor how to react to either Alice's. His Alice held an expression of heart-ache whilst the other, more pure Alice was frozen still, her face blank as she stared at her twin.

How could Oz settle this gently? He and Alice were having fun dancing - not out of romance, but just keeping one another company - and then his Alice, skipping to mad conclusions became frustrated with him. He didn't know what she was thinking and this bothered him like a piece of gun stuck on a shoe. If she never told him how she felt, how was he supposed to know? Calling him her 'manservant' did not count as expressing feelings of like or love, but more like expressing that you'll just put up ( ... )

After shock, anger began to boil inside of her.

"...what..." She mumbled, eyes fixed at her sister, turning to face her before raising her voice.

"What are you doing here!"

Suddenly, the angel-like features twisted in such a horrible way as she looked at the other girl, her darker colored duplicate, anger and disappointment burning in her eyes. The song had been ending, their moment had been ending, so why couldn't it end sweetly?

Why did she have to appear and ruin everything?

She looked at her, stunned once again. Her anger swept through Alice, making even her begin to fear.

What...this isn't my fault...

She opened her mouth trying to speak, but failed miserably. She was Alice...the Blood Stained Rabbit, so she shouldn't be like this. But to see her and Oz together...to see Alice angered because she was here...even though Oz was suppose to be next to her...made her break down, unable to stand up for herself like she usually did.

[[ooc: No no, it's fine...we all can go about by our own pace~<3]]

This was beyond painful for him. Why? Because both Alice's - both to whom he had a soft-spot for - were fighting against one another. If anything, Oz hated conflict and this was like watching someone yell at their reflection in the mirror, but these two were face-to-face, quite clearly displeased by the presence of one another.

And then came the white Alice's furious bellow at her other half, her face contorted with rage. Oz didn't plan this, it just happened; he let his conscience lead him and so he offered a very lonely girl a dance to a melody that she enjoyed. A type of anger seemed to stir within him, and the feeling was scary; extremely sinister. He had the need to laugh all of a sudden at his situation.

And so he allowed for his legs to buckle under him and allow for his knees to hit the floor, his body shaking with laughter. It was funny. So damn funny...!

Alice turned to look at Oz, expression blank again, only listened to him laughing.

Everything... everything that had been nice and sweet and pretty was falling apart. Something was always falling apart.

And she was angry, growing furious, hating this whole situation, this place, these people, even Oz, who had been so nice. Were this the Abyss, her anger alone would have destroyed things, thrown the dimension off balance, but this wasn't the Abyss. This wasn't the Abyss, and her powers meant nothing.

She only had the raging aura radiating from her.

[ooc: This is one mad party we have here. *giggles*]

Alice allowed her thoughts to flow through into a bundle of nonsense. She couldn't think...

But the sudden burst of laughter from Oz had snapped her out of it. Oz was laughing...he was mad...just like that time when she found him with Elliot wearing such an odd expression. This had somehow made her feel normal again, certainly not because Oz had made her feel better...but because she knew she had to do something about it.

Then she remembered, she still had that can of cookies from when she met with Kevin. She grabbed it and flung it at Oz, allowing it to hit him hard on the head. "What's with your expression?!" She asked, calm and collected, almost forgetting that the other Alice was there.

Yes, he was mad; madness was creeping up on him and make him act in such an uncharacteristic way. It may have been because seeing both Alice's hating each other triggered something in him, something that was suppressed down with such strength that it took something like this to burst the lid wide open. Nothing mattered to him and the only word that repeated in his head was DESTORY at such loud volume that the need was stronger than how it had been the last time ( ... )

And so, she was the only mad one left, her mind dangerously break breaking down.

"I hate you." Her voice was quiet, but she was trembling, trembling from all the hatred and grief and frustration. Every imaginable feeling joined as one.

"I hate you." Her voice grew stronger, louder, and she wouldn't stop shaking, her features once again twisted. She was so, so angry. So angry she couldn't contain it.

"Why do you have to be here!" She cried out, her voice nearly breaking, tears burning her eyes.

Was she going to be left alone again?

Was she going to take everything from her again?

"Then stop making such an odd expression!" She yelled before she ran up to Oz. "As my man-servant your suppose to listen to me...so that's what I'm ordering you..."

She tugged at his hang, feeling the need to feel it's warmth as she gave him a softer glare. Then she spoke.

I hate you...

Alice turned to her, bewildered because she had almost forgotten she was here. She wasn't even suppose to be here, she should be back in the Abyss were Cheshire was. "I...I feel like I belong here...where Oz can stay with me..." She told her softly. That was it, he was the reason she can live here where the sun was after all. "What is your problem with me anyways!" The reason why Alice hated her was obvious, she had hurt her that time...but it wasn't clear to her why this girl hated her.

Alice's tug of his hand didn't particularly take him by surprise at all for in a situation such as this, Alice would go as far as touching his hand just to feel warmth as though it was something alive to cling to. Then by the time her soft glare had been successfully delivered his way - though rubbing his sore spot from the force of the cookie jar, Oz smiled sheepishly at her. It was almost as like he didn't even take more notice (Nor care) of the fact that he had yet another breakdown of eerie madness.

Luckily for him it seemed that she wasn't treating him like a dog despite that being the last word she said to him up until a few minutes ago. But then the atmosphere was still chilly to the bone to which the aura was emitting from the white-haired Alice, anger, sorrow and full on despise all aimed directly at both him and Alice. This alone made no sense to Oz, but if he tried to approach that once pure girl with nothing but innocent shrouding her he would only make matters worse, not better.

I hate you. Those were the words that ( ... )

For a moment, she stared.

Just stared.

And then, she screamed. Screamed for no apparent reason. Just everything about this, everything ever, was going the wrong way, twisting, trains derailing. Screaming would do no good, but she couldn't help it: she was never taught to deal with anything like this. With things going wrong and being taken from her... even if they weren't originally hers, it still hurt.

She wasn't going to answer Alice: she couldn't. Too busy screaming and holding back tears and really, why should she anyway? There was no need. Alice shouldn't exist, should never have been born, that was enough, there was no reason to explain herself.

Right?

Alice let out a long breath of air. Her confidence was gained again and she was not fazed by the scream. She looked at her with an irritated look on her face...Alice had not answered her, but now she was just...screaming. This seemed no different from last time. Only there was...this time she was in control, and this time she could do something about it.

Slap...Out of what seemed like out of impulse, but was somehow thought out Alice lifted her hand and slapped it across the girl's face. Much lighter than she would normally do so, because she only needed her to snap out of it. "Stop it!" She yelled, angered that she did nothing but cause an unpleasant noise to her ears. "I exist here, taking in whats thrown at me, and if anyone tells me I should not exist I will fight them...I will fight them and I will win ( ... )

Immaturity was the one that popped into his head at the white-haired Alice's scream. She wasn't dealing with this very well, he could tell due to her facial expression that did scare him quite a bit. The idea of turning on his heel with Alice in tow frequently played in his mind; to run away from the problem rather than facing it head on. A coward; he was being a coward by even having such an idea. All it would do would make matters worse later on, and they were bad enough right now without having to deal with an even bigger tantrum in the near or far future.

I can't keep on running away...

Taking one step in front of Alice, Oz set himself directly in between the two girls, his emerald eyes stern. Why did they fight? Why did they hate each other so much? So many 'why's' but no 'because.' If that was the way it was going to be, Oz had to take a stance and keep his feet planting firmly on the ground at all times.

"Enough!"

He had to fix this; fix everything that he could afford to fix, at least.

The slap did indeed throw her out of her fit, leaving her standing still, eyes wide with surprise, her cheek red and ears ringing. It didn't hurt, at least not yet, but she wasn't used to slapping. When was the last time someone had slapped her? Had anyone ever, really?

But she had no time to respond, when Oz had already stepped in, keeping the two of them apart and harming each other any further. Because apaprently that couldn't be avoided when it was about the two of them.

Alice slowly turned her head to look at the two people, her sister and the boy who was painfully like Jack, eyes wide but expression otherwise rather blank. She was immature, she didn't know how to deal in these situations, no one had ever taught her that. In the Abyss, she always got her way in the end. Here, things were a little different.

Enough!

Alice widened her eyes when Oz got in front of her. His voice ringing throughout the room with so much power that reminded her of Jack's speech. At the thought of this she smiled, but it was barely visible.

"Oz...its ok, she needed that."

She said this with confidence, she had Oz next to him, and because of this it seemed like there was no need to say anything more. He'll find a solution for her, like he always does...if only he did the same thing for himself. Finally she stood silent watching what Oz will do next, it was his turn to speak.
