Oh, well, Valentine's day is when you give presents and things like chocolate to the people you really care about!

...Can't I do that anytime if I wanted to?

Yeah, of course you can! Valentine's Day is just a day when everyone expected to, I guess.

I understand it is a day to express the emotion called love to others...

Valentine's day is the day when you give sweets and flowers and things of that nature to people you are fond of.

Yes, I suppose one can send sweets and flowers to friends, but it is intended for those you see as, well, more than friends.

More than friends? That doesn't make any sense.

[In which Alice knows nothing about this stuff ;;]

[Aw she thinks it's like a birthday, huh?]

V-day's a celebration best enjoyed in pairs, kid. Not exactly like a birthday, but you could say gifts play an important part in it.

...Don't call me kid.

Pairs? What do you mean by pairs?

shamesthebrass February 13 2010, 08:44:23 UTC
[shrug] I call 'em as I see 'em.

And pairs, y'know. Two people? Most couples use V-day as an excuse to spend more time with each other. Can't see the point of it though since the couples I've seen at Shibuya look joined at the hip. You'd think they'd want some alone time for once.

...Wouldn't they be lonely then...?

Tch, stop talking with such weird sound effects. I didn't know so I asked, that's all.

[Ignoring that whole "special person" question.]
