Movies of 2009
I saw this somewhere on LJ and I thought it was a great idea. I decided to make a list of all the movies I have seen in 2009 and try to watch 100 movies by 2010. *crosses fingers* Hope I find time....
1. Step Brothers (I am so depressed that this is the first movie of 2009 I have seen, sigh.)
2. Watching the Detectives (this movie inspired so many plot bunnies, it's ridiculous)
3. L4YER CAKE (Daniel Craig is such a hottie)
4. Armageddon (such a horribly wonderful movie)
5. The Other Boleyn Girl (God watching the end of that movie was so hard, damn depressing movies)
6. Far And Away (Tom Cruise is super annoying but he is a good actor. He kind of sucks you into his shinanigins. Damn you Cruise, damn you.)
7. Cassandra's Dream (Ewan McGregor and Colin Farell, need I say more?)
8. Son of Rambow ("Hello, Lee Carter!" So effing cute!)
9. Waitress (Okay movie, but great pie discussions! I love pie!)
10. RocknRolla (I'm a real rocknrolla! Not really. *sigh*)
11. The Big Lebowski (Not that funny imo. Except for, "I don't fucking roll on Shabbos!". Best Line EVA!)
12. Dawn of the Dead (further confirms my love affair with zombie movies)
13. Gallipolli (wow, really, this is one of the 1001 movies I have to see before I die. Bleh, I'd pass.
14. Persepolis (weird moments + war = Persepolis
15. The Messengers (I actually forgot I saw this movie, that should say a lot about how I felt about it.)
16. L.A. Confidential (Holy Shit! Amazing movie, especially for a lover of film noir like myself. Spacey, Crowe, and Pearce all did an amazing job. I kinda want to watch it all over again, it was that good.)
17. Benny and Joon (I love Johnny Depp as much as the next person but he was a total cheese in this movie.)
18. I Love You, Man (I love Paul Rudd and Jason Segal. Pistol and Joebin forever!)
19. The Power of One (The MOST Depressing Movie ever. Period.)
20. Lakeview Terrace (Nothing I can really comment upon, very blah kind of movie)
