My, my... those few extra words do warm things up nicely. That scene is one of my favorites, and shows Jack as a true pirate. There is a gleam of ruthlessness in his eye, but I believe his intention (outside of escaping, of course) was to also goad Norrington and his pompous attitude. Elizabeth was a pretty diversion at that point, abet he did take full bodily advantage of it. :)
Nice bit on Will, I do like the way you describe his manliness, shall we say? ;)
Those scenes were what made me fall in love with PotC. The tension between all the characters, the way it was filmed and edited, it was all just right. You've captured the flavor of it here, and as always your unique wordage adds to the fun. Wonderful stuff, my dear. Thank you, and a happy 4th to you!
You got it all right spot on. The scene made me fall so hard and fast in love with all the characters and I never get tired of the whole back and forth--how it's really about Norrington and Jack with a side of Lizzie and her outrageous attitudes.
Hi babydoll! glad you liked my scribblybit. I just love that scene on the quay...seriously love it and have from the first time I saw the movie. Thank you kindly for the read and write.

Oh, I suspect she could sense it well enough... *g*
And he called her “Darlin’”. Oh, she should have stomped on his evil pirate toes!
Aww. :)))
