100 words Times 3 and some
Summary: Silly bit over Jack’s no dress comment which tickles me to this day.
Jack offered “no dress” to Lizzie, her slender self in britches presenting both treat and travesty. He realized would be best for his plans to simply get this particular task completed so that he could get along with his future. Jones wouldn’t wait.
Having Turner and Lizzie with any number of complications arising from their bloody stupid polite interpretations of his (pirate!) reality really interfered, compounded the impediments threatening his careful schedule to Not end up in the Locker while keeping the Pearl. Gave him a thundering headache imagining…
The curve of her in trews caused his brow to wrinkle as he pondered her female figure, made his hands ache with competing urges. One urge was to strangle the chit, her innocence and her assumptions fouling his waters, so to speak. That innocence and those assumptions then made him want to protect her until she could be married off to Turner and he could be rid of her angel face, her earnest, heart-felt declarations about his “goodness” (what the blazes did she know about anything?).
He still smarted over what he felt he owed her for the rum fire. Lord, how many times had his thoughts traveled back to that morning and how many times had he contemplated the joy he’d feel doing violence upon her darlin’ willowy self over his knee. Would scuttle the good man idol she had constructed. But then…
The other urge was to fill his hands, to cup her possibilities as he drew hers to his, performing a tactile exploration of visual provocations. His preference, what the red dress would have dramatically displayed, would be Lizzie’s fine, firm bosums lifted high for his scrupulous and mannerly observation.
So he snorted and sighed, accepting the truth of his offer. Britches or no dress, with Miz Swann, would never be dull and either were quite the lovely sight.
