Well, you already know - I think this is lovely! One of my favorite bits (strangely enough) is this:
The pirate lifted an eyebrow, tilted his head and put one index finger on his lips, eyes still fixed on Norrington's face. Waiting.
And I really love this:
"No, luv. When Lady Destiny decides it's yer time to die." His smile seemed to be somewhat reflective. "Ye see, it wasn't our time yet. She still has a need for us both, Commodore. Don't cross her plans, it will do ye no good in the afterlife."
Wonderful read, I really enjoyed it. My god though, when James was dying and Elizabeth left him, I saw a red haze in front of my eyes and all I could think was "THAT BITCH!" Thank god Jack was there to save him, in all the ways a man could be saved. By being loved!
