It would be true if one called this behaviour extraordinarily scandalous for an officer of His Majesty's Finest.
But as said officer did commit such shocking action neither in public nor in front of witnesses at all, nobody could accuse him.
"Like your breakfast, luv?"
"Best I ever tasted; only too bad that the honey is used up. I would very much like to invite you back."
"Oh, that's easy. We pillaged enough on the last raid. But this is the first time I didn't butter bread with it."
"Then I hope you won't confuse me with bread and bite..."
