This was really lovely! I love you interweaved your theme throughout it and it is was a great character study for Norrington. Poor guy - he was a good man who didn't get the ending that a good man deserves.

You're right. He should have survived - or at least die saving Jack instead of Elizabeth (though it was kind of serving the recurrent theme; but I still don't like the way it happened).
