Summary: Kris thought Tao was crazy for leaving him but in the end he realized he was the one who was crazy.

“Why did you do that?” Tao clenched his fist to hold back his tears that threaten to fall. Kris never expected Zi Tao to get over reacted because he was in bed with another guy. He felt that it was alright for him to sleep around as long as he goes back to Zi Tao side, it doesn’t really matter much.
“Because I’m a guy.” He said it as though he wasn’t wrong, as if it’s was right for him to do such things because he’s a guy. Zi Tao kept silence for a minute. Kris didn’t like how tears were running down the younger male’s face. He wrapped his arms around Tao, caressing his back gently to console the younger male.
“Zi Tao…” Tao roughly pushed Kris away from him. He raised his punch but stopped an inch away from his face. He put down his hand and stayed silent for a moment before he looked up.
“Let’s break up.” He whispered but it was loud enough for Kris to listen. His eyes were full of tears, his voice was hoarse and Kris felt bitter. His expression and voice at that moment was something that Kris couldn’t forget for his whole life.
Kris told his best friend, Lu han that he broke up with Zi Tao and he needed a friend. Luhan then decided to meet him at the pub nearby.
“I don’t get it. Why did he break up with me?” Kris sighed and gulped down another mug of beer.
“I tried to help you but this time he was firm on his stand. What did you do anyway?” Luhan wanted to help Kris by trying to persuade Zi Tao to give Kris another chance but Tao didn’t and was firm with his own decision. In the past, whenever they quarrel over things, Zi Tao will always forgive Kris and go back to his side. That’s why Luhan didn’t understand why this time round was different.
“I slept with Chanyeol but it is just friends with benefits. He got mad and wants to break up with me.” Kris explained in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone. He didn’t felt ashamed or regret at his own action at all.
“You what?!” Luhan was amazed at Kris’s self-confident for thinking that he was always right.
“What? What’s wrong? At least I’m not some asshole that plays around and don’t go back to their own lover.” Kris defended himself, hoping Luhan would agree with him.
“Right, you are not an asshole.” Kris smiled because finally he found someone who agrees with him.
“But you are a bastard.” Kris smiling face immediately fell, Luhan comment left Kris speechless.
“Why didn’t he give you that fucking punch to wake you up?” Luhan shook his head and left the bar, leaving Kris alone.
He stood still on the spot as he watched Tao smiling happily with his new lover, Byun Baekhyun. It was a coincidence for Kris to meet then at the park. Kris could feel the fury burning within him as he watched how intimate they were.
The moment Baekhyun plant a kiss on Zi Tao’s forhead, Kris couldn’t hold himself back any longer. He stomped towards the, and gave Baekhyun a punch on his right cheeks.
“What the hell are you doing?” Zi Tao barked and helped Baekhyun up.
“I saw him kissing you.” Kris replied.
“Why are you even angry? We already broke up!” Tao bawled at Kris. Kris froze. He had totally forgotten that they broke up. Zi Tao was no longer his lover. He began to realize, he was jealous. He was possessive over Zi Tao like how Zi Tao was once possessive over him because he was his lover.
He then understood why Zi Tao cried when he slept with Chanyeol. It’s not about whether if he’ll go back to Zi Tao side when he finished playing around.
Luhan was right, I’m a bastard.
“I must be crazy for thinking that he should stay with me.”
“You are finally back as a human, congratulation.” Luhan patted Kris’s back as an encouragement. Kris smiled bitterly, he regret for not realizing it earlier. There was no way he can recover their broken relationship anymore. He should stay away from Tao’s world and not step back to remind him the pain he gave.
“I’m glad he left me and found someone better.”
“Not going to make him return to your side?” Kris shook his head.
“I don’t want to remind him the pain I gave. I’ll leave Korea tonight and stay away from his life, that’s the only thing I can do for him.”
Kris finally realized he was the one crazy after all.
