I don't think my parents know that it's illegal to open other people's mail. They got my insurance paper for my records for the Pittsburgh gyno visit, opened it, stuck a post-it note on it, and mailed it to me. So now they know that I got three pathology tests done and had a consultation, in Pittsburg. Knowing them, they probably think I have ( Read more... )

i happened to be puzting around on my computer & saw your post. that's very low of your parents. as one of your other friends said, dont let this go! even if they looked at the insurance paper in good intentions (i doubt it), they should have asked, not opened. i hope you get everything sorted out. if you need ideas, you can IM me :) i know i havent always been there for you, but i'm very often thinking of you. *hugs*

*hugs* I'm waiting on the email i was told i'd get in the post-it note to figure out what to do. Right now i'm more worried about getting my roommate to pay his half of bills and the money he owe;s though. *sighs*

That's just INSANE. :( I'd be po'd too. Of course, this is from the girl who could have had a meth lab in her room and her mother would have never known because she never pried.
