So the venue woes continue.
The theatre is way out. $4000 gets you a black box space with work lights. You have to bring in your own everything. So financially, not happening.

Seriously though, make sure you get what you want. You'll be spending a lot of time there and a large amount of your pictures will have that as the background.
I'd recommend that you go to the hotel, check it out, see what they can do for you, and if it's not good enough, that's fine. Since you're somewhat flexible with your date, that makes it much easier to find a good location.
