This Monday, someone from my group of workers died at my mine site. He wasn't injured. There was no foul play. He just showed up to work as normal, but his clock had run out, and his partner in the field was left to cope with the aftermath ( Read more... )

Shit. I hope his loved ones will be able to handle his loss in the long run. I'm glad it wasn't an actual workplace accident, though- I'm only speculating, but that would be so much harder to handle in my case.
