My mom took my sister and I shopping today. At lunch our waitress had the slightest accent and we tried to guess where she was from. I thought maybe Eastern Europe. She eventually told us that her family was Turkish but they lived in Egypt until she was 16.
It seems like everything is being uprooted and switched around.
