Oh My Sainted Fetlocks...

I was browsing the BBC News website as I usually do at lunchtime and... look what I spotted in the 'Magazine' section...

That's it my furriends! We are now officially Mainstream!

It will lead to an influx, that's for sure. I still think it'll be like sci-fi conventions though - known about but not mainstream, perhaps ridiculed rather than lambasted by most.

Should I cringe now, or wait until after I read the article?

Seriously, it's very well-written. Nothing cringeworthy in there at all.

Yeah, it's actually pretty balanced, for once.

Decent article. Although it has the usual assumtion that all furry = fursuit. Which to any fur is obviously false. Plus the text under the picture of Daiquiri; "Fursuits can cost thousands of pounds from shops", grates a bit as it has the suggestion that fursuits are simply expensive off the peg halloween costumes, rather than custom made comissions or self made.

It's going to be pretty funny if costume shops suddenly get hundreds of calls from people looking for "off the rack" fursuits.
