In my view, flat racing is more acceptable. It is jump racing that has an unacceptable level of risk (6 times that of flat).

Having said that, flat is not without welfare issues, but I'm prepared to work with the flat industry to try and address these- working within is more effective than criticism from outside.

Jump racing is a different matter. There are somes lines I can't cross.
