Notes: This is a response to the '10 I Love You Drabbles' challenge as requested by navy_brat_1972.
1 - Hands - Ryan loves to watch Garrett’s hands when he cooks, those tiny, precise movements required to cut vegetables just so mesmerizing him as he thinks about how those movements translate into the bedroom setting so perfectly.
2 - Eyes - Garrett’s favorite thing about Ryan is his eyes. They're this blue color that he could lose himself in forever, like the sea on a calm day when he’s got nothing to do but relax with the one he loves.
3 - Lips - Ryan’s so entranced by Garrett’s lips, lost in his fantasy world and imagining them wrapping around his hardened cock, that he actually moans out his response to the other man’s statement about his appalling sodium intake. The silence that follows is the most awkward, deafening silence either one of them can ever recall.
4 - Skin - Garrett watches from the sand as Ryan’s golden skin takes on a delicate, rosy glow and wishes that he didn’t always have to burn to a crisp whenever he set foot outside. The only advantage to being pasty, he supposed, was the fact that Ryan would be more than willing to massage in plenty of aloe that night.
5 - Fingers - Garrett’s fingers were scarred from one too many cooking accidents and Ryan’s were crooked from one too many skateboarding accidents, but they still fit perfectly together like they were meant to be that way.
6 - Neck - Garrett shuddered as he felt Ryan’s warm breath against his neck and cursed every deity known to man. Why did the object of his affections and wet dreams have to fall asleep on him in the middle of the longest bus ride of his life?
7 - Heart - Ryan quietly sat at Garrett’s bedside, holding his hand and stroking his dark hair. The strain of the younger man’s high blood pressure had finally become too much and his heart was giving out, but Ryan knew that his husband’s spirit was always going to be there with him.
8 - Cheeks - Garrett loved the way Ryan’s cheeks always got flushed when he’d had too much to drink. Perhaps it was that loose, carefree attitude that had drawn him to the other in the first place.
9 - Lashes - Garrett’s breath caught in his throat as Ryan leaned in until he was hovering just millimeters away, bringing one finger out to remove the eyelash from his cheek and smiling brightly as he told him to make a wish. Garrett wished for Ryan.
10 - Choice - Garrett would never forget the day he came home to find Ryan poring over one of his cookbooks as he attempted to make them dinner. It was a sweet attempt, even if they did end up ordering pizza.
