Stuffings I Have Loved

So I said I haven't been cooking new foods, and that's largely true since I got back from break. But before that, last term I was having a wonderful time experimenting with homemade stuffings which I totally fell in love with, so much so that for New Years I made a bounteous trio of stuffings in both gluten and gluten-free versions with homemade ( Read more... )

I usually think of stuffings as just extra work I don't need to do, but man, these sound *awesome*. I'm adding them to my memories and going to give myself a stuffing pep-talk. *g*

I know it! I should admit that growing up I used to love the kind of stuffing that comes in a box and you just add water - my family wasn't big on it, so I pretty much had the box to myself. I'm still in the process of replacing all these childhood foods with better alternatives since I've sworn off packaged, processed foods (although I still slip up occasionally), and learning to make my own stuffing means I get to have all that warm goodness again :)

My mouth is watering! The Artichoke Parmesan Sourdough Stuffing sounds amazing. I will probably use vegetable broth instead of chicken when I get a chance to try it. Thank you!

Thank you! I'm in transit, but having a nice day. Got back to the states from Mexico yesterday with a one night stop-off at my parents' house,. and today after a birthday lunch I'll be headed back to rl and work and all of that for tomorrow.
