Tiny European Principality?

Has anyone been to Andorra? We have three days free later this week and we're thinking of going. Suggestions?

LOL. Eh...that takes care of an hour. Or two :)

The area is gorgeous nature wise in the mountains and all, but I don't remember much to sightsee. Now admittedly I was there two decades ago with my dad and brother biking up and then down the Pyrenees, but I'd have remembered something outstanding :)

We just booked a spa resort, so finding things to do won't be a problem :)

New passport stamp!

Thank you for weighing in.

Is there actually an Andorra? Because it totally sounds like one of those made-up countries from which the hunky-but-heavily-accented prince comes from in a terribly written daytime drama, doesn't it?

IKR! But yes - it is an actual place - between Spain and France. I first thought of that Princess Diaries movie with Anne Hathaway when I heard the name.

I love that being a geographically challenged 'Merikun means that there are countries in Europe whose existence is a surprise to me. LOL.

I get the Princess Bride vibe others have mentioned, but my first thought was that Andorra sounds like a Star Trek/Star Wars planet name.

Ha - very true. Although I don't really think this one is our fault - it is only 18 square miles.
