Figured I should update this thing. Ken's nudge for me to update also got me more motivated :-p. Well, I have been searching for a job and while I get offers for sales positions, not much has turned up. I really am not into sales, so I don't want to go with a business when I know that is something I do not want to do for the rest of my life. ( Read more... )

I will hope to get up your way next weekend! I might actually be heading up to Roger's and was thinking of coming back through Sunday and staying at your place Sunday night and go Monday morning? Let me know if that works!

It seems you and MIke are in the same boat, and I was definitely there all last year! Despite ALL the jobs out there, it's hard to find one that works for you. I am a firm believer in getting a job you can STAND and preferrably LIKE! I'll continue to pray you find something that works for you! I know what you mean about the outdoor thing...as much as I like my job here, I can't imagine being stuck in front of this compute for EIGHT Hours! Four hours on a nice day can be tough! I'd LOVE to ideally get paid for spending all day in the woods photographing deer. :) Doesn't seem to be existing at the moment, but you never know! Just keep at it!

Being infront of a computer! Did that for 2+ years, and never was truely appreciated by the owner!!!! I agree with you Mel! IT SUCKS!!! Don't ever get stuck behind a desk like that...once in awhile is ok, but not day after day!!! ;-)

Another Update!!!!! And what do you mean a COUPLE weeks, try like a month!!! :-P

If you want, I can see what's in the Amherst area. It is a growing business area, even though the City of Buffalo is deader than dead, Amherst is growing!!!! You always would have a friend here ;-)

One more thing, give me some time to figure out how to use myspace. I've got 1001 things to do between now and the Star Waws Marathon and just haven't taken the time to determine exactly how it all works.

Hey Jess, I tracked you down on live journal. No I'm not stalking you :-P Mel told me you had live journal, so blame her ;) Anyway, I have a job idea for you.

Mel said you are working part time at Pita Pit... rock on. Well, do you enjoy writing? Because I think you should look into freelance writing movie reviews for a local entertainment newspaper. Rochester has a free entertainment and advertisement paper called City. Does Syracuse have a similar type publication. If so, you could even offer to work unpaid (if they have no paid positions available) to simply get experience. You love movies, so I thought maybe writing movie reviews would be up your alley.
