I doubt anyone reads this, but here's a public update...

It's hard to write a public update when I'd rather keep journal thoughts and my daily events to myself/friends, but I figure it's been over a year, why not update a few big topics. So since I last wrote in June 2008, from what I can think of now, I've gone on an awesome 10 day trip to Costa Rica in January 2009 that was really amazing but way too long to talk about. I planned on working/living at a ranch there for 3 months this January, but never made the plans final so I gave up on them. I went on a fun trip to visit Brett in New Orleans this summer where we went to a waterpark and some bars and such. Tara and I are still friends and that's all about the same. I moved into my own apartment this month, which I've been pretty busy with. I've just started looking for a bartending job after finishing the school over a year ago (to afford the apartment.) I've been working at Staples over 3 1/2 years and things are still going pretty well and about the same there. I was in an unofficial (we didn't want boyfriend/girlfriend titles) kind of long distance relationship for 6 months starting around January this year, but that has ended because of some of our differences and so on. I hung out with Nasia a bunch of times over the summer which was great because she was home, but now she's living upstate again and I haven't seen her too recently. The past few months I've been watching a lot of documentaries about the government and drug use that I find pretty interesting. This year I've been really into NetFlix and watching a lot of movies through it. I still stay up to date with The Office and South Park, and I can't wait for the next season of 30 Rock to come out on DVD so I can catch up with that as well. I also have become a part time kgb_ Special Agent this year meaning I get paid to answer some questions that people text to kgbkgb. I've hardly taken any pictures (besides the ones on vacations/etc.) but still plan on getting back into that soon. My dog is doing just fine (but lives with my parents now) and I got a rat named Nigel a couple of months ago. I've completely decided no religion makes any sense to me. I went through a period of strongly craving change, but believe as of recently most of those desires have been fulfilled. I feel I'm a much different person, yet almost completely the same than I was not all that long ago. It's sort of like who I am just feels more defined. My life is currently in an okay to good phase and I have been considering dating again -But with a huge "only if the person is completely worth it" disclaimer attatched. That's all I can think of right now. Don't expect any other updates too soon, but I do still keep up with my Friends Only journals regularly if you're interested and worthy of being added to my Friends List.
