Well, talk about embarrassing! This one wasn't that bad. Quite amusing honestly. Sometimes even the "resting, calm" scenes can have their moments, and this is definitely one of them.

“Dusk!” Shadow hollers, his crimson eyes trying to pick out his purple-furred friend but has no luck. 'Come on Shadow, the fair will be fun! We'll have a great time!' Shadow thinks, reciting Dusk's very words before he got into this mess, 'How can we have a great time if she darts off into this crowd on her own? Come to think of it, how can she even move that fast in this tight of a crowd?!'Doing his best to politely squeeze through the rabble, although at this point he's almost ready to elbow people out of the way, Shadow manages to find the midway; stocked with all kinds of stalls from the typical ring toss and bottle pyramids to more technologically upgraded games like a laser shooter and skee ball ( ... )

The hours steadily tick by, Shadow and Dusk constantly missing one another by just a minute or two; sometimes less. Shadow glides past the styling booths just seconds before Dusk leaves one; each of her purple quills now bearing a cyan sliver in the middle. Dusk drives her bumper car into the back of the area shortly before Shadow glances over ( ... )

Kidding aside, you painted a very vivid picture! Though your tense issues are still cropping up from time to time. But I like this! Well done!

::shivers:: kinda creepy... This one worked well for you. Shadow and Espio together seem to be a pairing that works pretty much every time you try it. I'll prompt you for more of them in the future.
