Squeee!! I met a bunny today! He was HUGE and he was only 5 months old and we couldn't believe how big he was... and I was petting him and stuff. What a cutie pie! It was a mobile pet show and I had to restrain myself - because she had a cage full of boy rats, quite young ones, mostly blue, platinum, some dumbos... I stuck my finger in, and the guy freaked right out saying "oh they might bite you!!"
I stuck my finger further in, and said "No, he won't bite me... I have MANY rats at home, and I'm quite confident thanks, don't you think they'd like someone to pet them too???"
The lady then came over and opened the door for me, after I told her about my own rats. They were all skittish, all of them, so obviously not socialized at all. Poor boys, I wanted to take them all home.
I'm not sure what he was, but he was a cutie. He was tanny-orangy and his ears stuck upwards (I think). I'd say he was about 18" long, and a rough guess (I didn't pick him up) would be around 20lbs, maybe more. He had a really big head, like the size of a softball, and he seemed to be a really curious guy. When Patrick was going on about how big he was and how he'd never seen a bunny that size I mentioned that your bunny seemed just as big from the pictures I've seen of him, so perhaps they are the same kind.

But yeah, it was cool petting the bunny.
