I posted earlier this morning, about the drawing I was happy with...here it is...
The first one is the one I traced...then got mad that I couldn't replicate it exactly freehand...the second one was just a doodle that turned into something else entirely. :D

Thanks...although the second one is starting to look like the interior artwork from one of Silver Ravenwolf's books. :D

It actually looks like a Celtic representation of Mannanan mac Lyr ...an irish/welsh sea deity ... who happens to be one of my patrons :-) So, I obviously, greatly fancy it.

Well, I can't wait to see what else you do - the second one is streets ahead of the first one - if that's doodling, I'm jealous...

I'm finding I've got to learn about vanishing point and spatial relation...that's tonight's lesson. :D

The freehand drawing is great. You are too hard on yourself, then again so am I so I know how you feel

Actually one of my goals is to get good enough in the next two years to draw comics. The HF people are considering doing a couple of online comics when the series is over....

Nice. Looks like something I'd sculpt onto a platter.

Do you think Poseidon would appreciate a fish platter? ;-)

It's what I was thinking.

But if you didn't want to sculpt it, you could buy a wooden platter at a craft store, tape the image onto it and woodburn through the paper onto the wood.
