i woke up an hour late for work this morning....I called in, then said I was taking a sick day. I went back to bed, for all of thirty seconds, and I couldn't do it. I just felt so horrible, like I was deserting my post or something

I used to feel that way you know...then 3 years of abuse and neglect at the hospital changed all that, which is why I've been out the last two days. I feel for you, but kudos to you for having a work ethic, it is an admirable thing.
