Chris, you should get a kick out of this. I was looking at some paintings by J.M. Waterhouse and it was entitled "Ulysses and the Sirens". I paused looking at the painting thinking, "I don't know who the hell 'Ulysses' is...that was brave Odysseus who challenged the call of the Seirenes ( Read more... )

It was ironic since I had just lj'd you about Greek versus Kemetic translations of names...and there, my beloved Greek gets a similiar treatment. I guess turnabout is fairplay. :)
