You'll find a library in the northern parts of the city. It's called Os Dias Sao a Noite and it's pretty hard to miss. Looks like it was plucked from a completely different world and placed there.

You really think that many people will divulge the workings of their power? Even if you don't use it against us, there's no certainty others who read this wouldn't.

I'm not saying it actually was transported here. There does seem to be a schizophrenic theme to the architecture here, if you haven't noticed. It's all very strange.

Hmm...well. It can't hurt to tell you that myself and my sister, Belldandy, are goddesses. From Heaven, of course. Magic seems to work differently here than in the dimensions I'm used to, but I couldn't tell you why...this whole world is a bit off.

A mage is a human with elven blood in them. That's what allows us to use magic--at least, in my world.
