I enjoyed Satyricon tonight. I want to make an effort to go to more shows. I have been slacking a bit. It helps that the guys in the band will go with me. Going to shows solo is lame.

The new term has started. Sitting in a common area between classes makes me realize my comparative age. I will turn 30 this year, and I feel a world apart from the kids that surround me. The Cam is soft resetting, but most of my friends are resetting themselves. I am looking forward to a new PC, on an even footing with others. I am working on rules things on a national and global level, and having a good time. Some people hate change, but most people are glad to start new characters. You cannot please everyone.

I just got a new helmet. Its a Norman round top with a large cruciform nasal. Its made of stainless steel, has a black grill, and attractive brass rivets. The helmet looks awesome. I have been going to fighter practice pretty regular for a while. My armor is comfortable, and I feel pretty mobile in it. I am by no means skilled yet, but my fundamentals are getting better and better. Each week I feel like I improve one aspect of my game, and get a little better.
