I'm taking a small break from college work to update my LJ, which I haven't done in forever. Missing the Berkshires was a big hit, but I did get a lot of work done during the time I would have been up there. I suppose my life is pretty hectic with college work, but it could be worse. All of my friends are being supportive, but aside from that my life feels empty. Not in the depressing way, but now that I'm done with the freshman play, I don't have much to do. I should go back to freelance editing for Denebola. But right now, I have to do a good CMU supplement before 1/1 to make the deadline. Finishing a good Common App essay this week was a relief, because I can apply to UMass and UVM no problems now. The thing with my supplements for CMU, Colgate, and UMD is the questions are vague, and you need to figure out how to appeal to admissions officers. Well, enough college work talk. Yesterday was my one-month anniversary with Natasha, which was lucky, because it was the last time I will see her during vacation. I quit smoking two weeks ago, which is better for my health. I went to a party and didn't have a cigarette, which I feel is a big step forward. My brother's being more patient with me since I re-did my Common App essay and did it really well. By this point I'm just rambling. All I know is that life will be a lot easier when I'm all done applying, but it's not so hard right now.
UPDATE: A weight has been lifted off my shoulders. I got accepted at Stony Brook University!
