Seems like I only post here once a month now. I'll try to be more regular, lawl.

I am now free! Long story short, Uni lectures are over, all assignments are done, and I just have one more exam (On 31st May) to do. These past three years have totally flown by...

Went on a trip to Scotland with the Uni last week. Was a compulsory trip - had to collect

I so wish falconry wasn't illegal here, it's so hard to find jobs that deal with raptors and such. As far as I know, only a couple of the big zoos that have bird shows are the closest thing, and the competition to get a job at such a place is INSANE.

Boy, I can imagine. I know there's a ton of people wanting jobs at our centre! Are there any like...bird-specific centres that do bird of prey flying displays but not the falconry side of things? I know there's a few over here, but they mainly focus on the rescue/rehab whereas we're a 50/50 mix of both. XD;

I've been to Scotland before...it's definitely a 'only go there if I need to' place in my books, LOL! Pretty, but...not much there. XDD

Yeah, is sure fun. I'm fine as an owl mother...much more tolerant of him than I am the children I see at work, ROFL. Some horrible kids were throwing rocks at one of the birds the other day. Gave them a good shouting. Ugh. :/

Well...he's an owl. Owls are not smart at all...totally stupid creatures. XD Pretty but not clever, sadly. XDD

Slide into a job after...? Huh? But the falconry work IS my full time job now. XD Full time, paid work, on contract...I plan to stay there for quite some time!

Mmhmm. Really lovely place, but not somewhere I'd say 'Ooh! Yeah I really wanna go there' kinda thing. XD

I know right? I don't even know why their parents didn't tell them to stop. I mean srslywtf. o_o; Yeah, birdy was fine, so I must've caught them like when they just started throwing stuff, but still. Was so mad at the little brats for that. :/

Some birds are like...clever for an owl. But they're not a patch on our hawks, falcons and eagles...especially eagles. Some of our eagles are scarily smart. D: But lol yeah, little baby is still...babyish. Clumsy, silly and...well, a typical owl. XD

Glad to hear you had nice weather too. Sunny days are always good. ^^
