Paris 2011 - Photos!
Pretty much the same as we did last year, LOL. 8D; But because we went a week or so earlier than last year, the parks were open until 11pm instead of like, 6pm.
Also, light parade plus fireworks. Bonusss.
(No cut because...I'm lazy. Sorry! 8D)
Day 1:

My Crazy Summer
Even though I check this place so often, I keep forgetting to update! Whoops!
Summer has been crazy busy so far, and will be even busier as the time goes on. Hogeeze. x_x
Started my new job in mid-July and am loving it. Learning so much and having an utter whale of a time. Get to handle so many birds every day, it's so neat. :3 Been flying so many ( Read more... ) -
Marsa Shagra Trip Report
2 weeks and over 40 dives later, I have returned. :D
I don't even know where to start. It was all everything I imagined and more...
Also, food, drink etc was all free. Free Fanta - all day, every day. I think my blood must be orange now.

Brb, practically living underwater for 2 weeks, LOL.
Exciteddd.
3+ dives a day, every day. Jesus, I'm gonna be knackered. OTL
(But the water will be our only accessible form of 'air-conditioning', and in 30-40 °C heat...ohboylol.)

Devon Trip Report
Got back from Devon yesterday at 5pm. Had a really wonderful time, everything was so pretty and we got so much packed into each day! :D
Stayed at my friend's house the night before; went for a walk around Cambridge before settling in for some movie-watching-time.

In today's lecture...
Live animals!
On Tuesday, we had two taxonomy lectures - one on reptiles, one on mammals. To illustrate the lecture, the local wildlife park brought in some of their rescue animals. Daww!
SO.
I held a ball python, cuddled a tegu, tickled a beardie, played with some rats and cuddled a very soft skunk (Called Pepe, lol!).

Birds Of Prey Centre - Job Description
So today, I went down to my local bird of prey sanctuary where I'll be volunteering for 4 weeks in the summer. :D
Met a load of lovely people; they showed me around the place and told me the kinds of things I'll be doing.
Cleaning cages, free flying, handling, hand rearing(!!!) and of course feeding. Gaaah I'm so excited! <3 We candled a couple ( Read more... ) -
Why is this month so crazy?!
Srsly, I've been swept off my feet this entire month.
Most of my assignments are in now, though. Got 3 more to do; 2 of which I can't start until I collect the data for them (One set in April, one in June)! Next one due is the Research Proposal for my cleaner wrasse project. Slowly getting there with that. Handed in my ethics forms last week so my ( Read more... )
