hey, this is my prompt! thanks for filling, that was exactly what i wanted :) i'm not at all touchy feely unless it's someone i'm dating and then i want to touch them all the time, so i kinda know what rachel and quinn are feeling. but i like the idea of not knowing how to react when someone touches you, i've had it many times!

This is absolutely adorable. Of course, I get to see it from Rachel's POV since I'm pretty much a stand-offish don't-like-being-touched kind of person. Led to all kinds of awkward moments with the few guys I dated. Whereas when my gf pulls a surprise cuddle move, I get a bit startled, but go along cause hey, that's my girl and it generally turns out awesome. I totally get the being crushed into someone's side cause you're small sensation too. XD

Yeah, I don't like to be touched usually, but I love to cuddle; I just never initiate it.

I'm not sure where the idea of being crushed into someone's side came from, considering it's never happened to me (although I'm probably short enough it could happen with some people), but it mainly came from me trying to remember if any of the guys ever held Rachel's hand or if she was just always attached to their arm in some way.

I speak from experience that when you're a pretty short girl dating a taller guy, especially when they're the "arm over the shoulder" type, you kinda get pulled into it. It's really awkward as hell kinda like someone trying to pull a standing/walking cuddle. Personally, I hated it, but I'm sure there are those out there who enjoy the sensation of being pulled into someone all the time. I found it to be much more like being trapped.

Edit cause that sounded really awkward... and judgmental. Yikes. >_>;
