Re: Cam stuff

I understand why, but I don't like it. I don't have time for the crap within the cam, and now one of the reasons I was staying (I won't lie, my PC rocked) is now gone. I'm not quitting...I'm going to give it a chance. But I'm not going to be sacrificing anything for the club right now, I have way too much on my plate right now ( Read more... )

life, camarilla crap

well Kat, if you are interested. I've been playing in a Camarilla Troupe based on OWoD stuff but set in a post Gehenna world. The games are very intense social mechanization, its on IRC though. I'm not sure if you've heard about it or not, but its probably the biggest reason why I'm going to renew this year.

If it sounds interesting to you, hit me up and I'll send you the link to the games wiki.

I've heard about it. The big issues is simply having time to play right now. I don't have time for the Cam, which is probably why I'm so apathetic about the changes.

Mostly, real life is being such a pain in the ass right now I don't have time for any of my hobbies. However, I've heard good things about the game, and I might look into playing. What draws you into the OWoD game? What do you like and dislike about it?

To be honest the story, the idea and setting were so unique that it drew me in with the possibility of new and undiscovered ventures. I love NWoD and had no intention of play OWoD again.

And the games have all been intense social and political games, I think the entire 3 months I've played I may have thrown 2 rps. Its an interesting mix to see Former Cammies and Sabbat mix together trying to figure out what to do now, where to do we go from here.

New enemies and old vendettas are rising from the shadows and ashes of the old world. The story and RP have been amazing and that more over all plus the lack of OOC drama. Makes for 10+ gaming experience.

Heh, I actually just heard about this one. I'll have to take a peek to see what all is going to be involved and determine if it's worthwhile or not...

I get it and think there are some good things to it - but parts I heard are a bit screwy (reserving final thoughts until I actually read what's going on for myself). Oh well - there's always my tabletop game(s).
