I managed to finally get the valves set yesterday evning after it cooled off on the tractor. What a pain..I finally figured out that if the jam nut is almost completely jammed down, you still can turn the tappet to set the gap. Leave it aliitle tight, and tighten the jam nut down, and Volla ( Read more... )

Im thinking of replacing the 392 gas engine in my IHC with a 52 hp isuzu direct inject. The 392 has about 350 hp but gets 13 mpg at best, and its doa now. Being a lot lower rpm engine, and the rear end in the truck is already 3.12 Im also toying with the idea of making this a hybrid.
