the hudson feeling like a rock is because you have guys not making the boat move enough. it isnt because of the design. that design should make it sit really high on the water. That is because you have less weight in that boat an it is designed for. therefore it should move rather easily, but be difficult to set up by 8s. it might be set a bit heavy for the guys you have rowing in there but it shouldnt be like redic heavy. dont give up.
