Still waiting

So I saw my ultrasound results today. My left thyroid is rather large and has lesions (craters, basically) with one tumor just hanging out. Next week I am going in for a biopsy so they can see if the node (tumor thingy) is cancerous or not.  There is only a 5-8% chance of cancer plus even if it was, thyroid cancer is pretty simple. Tear the thing

My sister has Hashimoto's (hypothyroid problem) and ended up with thyroid cancer and had her thyroid removed this past May. She's doing amazingly better since then. I'm sure once they get this all taken care of it will make a world of difference for you, too. *hugs*
