The last couple days have been eventful. Yesterday my neck started to swell and hurt something fierce, which is to be expected when you've been stabbed 6 times.  I finally couldn't put up with it anymore and went in to the E.R. this morning. The roads were much clearer than I expected and now I have oxycodone instead of just regular Tylenol. It is

*hugs* I'm sorry to hear about the diagnosis, but I am sure the surgery will go well. It's been about 9 1/2 months since my sister had her thyroid removed, and her scar is really fading well. She's not even wearing scarves anymore!

I'm also glad to hear you've got some better pain meds.

I just bought some pretty scarves!! I am feeling a bit girly about it and also mad that warm weather is just around the corner so I will feel only slightly overdressed all the time.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Marie! Well, I am glad that you went to the doctor and they're figuring out what's wrong and taking care of it. Thank Goodness, but sorry to hear you're going through all this. :(

I miss you, too!! I should be hanging around this summer (for treatments and all that) so we definitely need to hang out. I have all my fingers crossed and think of you and Dan and your new house and the flood often!! Stay dry!
